Summary: We love this property, this is our third time there. Location is private and at the end of a road gated makes you feels like your at home. The house is very well stocked with everything you will need for your stay. Great wineries all over the area yet still close to Jacksonville for other dinning and stores. We will be back next year.

Summary: The house is nestled between hills behind a gate on a tree farm. I want to tell a story about this place and the joy it brought me to be there. However, people don't read these reveiws to be inundated with emotions. Simply, when you stay here, it will feel like you are in a large, fancy treehouse. This is not luxury if that is what you are looking for. It is also not a cabin. The house is practical, charming, earthy, and purposefully rustic. I could have easily moved in there permanently and not have wanted to change a thing except the toilets. They were a little small and very close to the wall. We would wake up every morning and have our coffee overlooking the property on the wrap-around deck overlooking the property every morning. Then we'd hike and adventure. In the evening, I would prepare our meal in the kitchen which had fantastic appliances (I'll be looking into Jennair for my replacements in my own house), grill outside on the propane grill and eat on the deck. You will want to be outside. The beds were comfortable. The was duvet the right weight. The shower pressure was excellent. One issue we had was, there was no cell service and the wi-fi went out. This was the case for the entire visit which was 7 days. Deanna, the property manager did her very best to resolve the issue but with the remote location of the property it was difficult to get a tech out. When one did come, he showed up at 7:30 in the evening without notifying her or us that he was coming. We were out. Deanna provided a credit without us asking. Turns out, the break from tech was a catharsis. I cried when we had to leave. The Applegate Valley is a delightfully unique and interesting place to visit. I would go back in a heartbeat. I would stay at this property for sure. If it wasn't available, I would 100% call Deanna and work with her to find another place.

Summary: We stayed 2 nights and were very happy with the peaceful setting and the rustic home with a great kitchen. The road getting in was more challenging than we anticipated. We would recommend a 4 wheel drive which we had thankfully. Also- drive up before dark!!! It's not a drive I want to do in the dark or in the rain. We discovered on arrival the gate code we were given was not the correct code, A very kind neighbor told us we were not the first to experience this and was so nice to help us get in. The correct code was emailed to us, but since it was not really emphasized, my husband did not realize our packet was not correct. Seems like it should have been changed on the packet since we reserved over a month prior. The property is lovely and we enjoyed our stay after the brief panic that we would not be able to get in.

Summary: Property was a great getaway but it is remote! Easy access to and from both Ruch and Jacksonville, but when you are at the house you feel like completely alone. Follow hosts instructions getting to the house as google maps doesn't work. Super clean with a fully stocked kitchen. Wish there would have been more information about the surrounding buildings on the property as it seems like there is an interesting history.

Summary: This place is just as described and pictured. Beautiful place to decompress before we headed home from a week long road trip. The location is gorgeous and the details within the house are thoughtful and lovely. The bathrooms *are* tight and could present challenges for people with space or mobility issues but do have pretty materials and all the essentials provided. If we are ever in the area again, will absolutely try to stay here again!
